Q: Do I need a supplemental application?
A: Yes, we do have a supplemental application for the Provantage PE program which is available under the “Applications” tab.
Q: Does your program have a minimum premium requirement?
A: Typically, our minimum premium is $5,000.
Q: What is your typical turnaround time from submission to quotation?
A: From the receipt of a full submission, a quotation could be offered in as little as a 48 hour timeframe.
Q: Do I need to be an appointed agent in order to obtain a quotation?
A: No, we can provide you with a quotation without being appointed. If you and your client like the quotation and would like to bind business, we will pursue a broker agreement at that point. Unlike some other organizations, we have no pre-established volume commitment or quotas that you must meet with us. Rather, we hope that you enjoy doing business with us and we are able to build a mutually beneficial relationship.
Q: Does Professional Underwriters also offering Property & Casualty lines for schools and municipalities?
A: Yes. Professional Underwriters is “The Public Entity Specialist” across the nation and is the program administrator for the Textbook Insurance and Community Works Insurance programs offering property and casualty lines, as well as risk control services. Q: Is the Provantage PE program available in every state?
A: Currently there are just a few states where we are not offering our Provantage PE program. Law Enforcement Professional Liability is not offered in LA, NM or WV; Public Officials Professional/EPLI is not available in AK, HI, NM and WV and Educators’ Legal Liability/EPLI coverage is not offered in NM and WV.

Q: Is the Provantage PE program offered on an admitted or non-admitted basis?
A: Primarily this program is offered on a non-admitted basis. Please contact us regarding your state.
